The date calculator is used to add or subtract from a date based on a specific number of months, weeks, days, or even hours.
Step #1: Indicate a start date in the first box provided..
Step #2: Include if you want to add (+) or subtract (-) from the primary date.
Step #3: Fill out the number of years, months, weeks, or days you want to add or subtract.
Step #4: The date calculator automatically updates your new date whenever you input a new value. If you are happy with the result, you can copy and paste it, download the data as .TXT or .DOCX, or get a share link.
Important Note: According to the Gregorian calendar, our date calculator can add or subtract dates and number of days between 01/01/0001 and 12/31/9990. If the date is not within this range on the time addition calculator, it will generate an error. The calendar also does not highlight or recognize national holidays, just the date, days, weeks, and months between the dates input into the system.
We created the time addition and subtraction calculator to help individuals and businesses organize their time better. This tool is beneficial for Textmagic clients that want to schedule texts in advance or create SMS sequences.
Here are a few simple use cases for our add or subtract date calculator:
Event scheduling. Determine the exact date of an event based on a specific number of weeks or months.
Vacation and holiday planning. Calculate precisely how much time you have until your holiday/vacation by subtracting or adding days, weeks, and months with our calculator.
Check the date range of a project. Big projects are often delayed. Use our date to date calculator to estimate your new completion date and ensure company timelines do not overlap with your new project date.
Organize accounting better. Some invoices have 15 or 30-day billing cycles. By adding or subtracting days from your initial date, you can determine the exact date of the invoice and budget accordingly.
Automatically calculate leap years. Leap years have 366 instead of 365 days. February 29 is added to the calendar as a leap day every four years. Our calculator takes this day into account automatically when adding or subtracting from your date.
Schedule SMS sequences. Want to schedule your text messages every number of days, weeks, months, and years? Our free tool lets you see the exact date when they will arrive to avoid disturbing your clients during the weekend or inconvenient times.
To calculate days to add with our calculator:
1. Input your start date in the calendar.
2. Make sure the years, months, and week values are set to 0.
3. Only add your desired number of days.
Please note that, while similar, adding 60 days is different from adding two months because each month has a different number of days.
The tool counts all calendar days. There is no option to calculate working days separate from those non-working days. Keep this in mind while calculating the days.
You can subtract days from a date similarly to how you would add days to the date. Select the subtract (-) option in the calculator. The time subtraction option automatically calculates the time between dates.
